I love asda for shopping It seems to have all I need and asda own brands seem to taste so much better than other supermarkets out there.Staff are great. Though there are BIG NEGATIVES WITH SHOPPING AT ASDA .1.YOU NEED 2 POUND COINS BEFORE YOU START YOUR SHOP, 1 FOR TROLLEY AND 1 FOR PARKING.2. ITS MAINLY SELF SERVICE,WHICH YOU ALWAYS HAVE A PROBLEM WITH .3.AFTER SORTING PARKING, GOT YOUR TROLLEY, MANAGED TO CHECK YOUR SHOPPING OUT...AFTER WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO SORT TO SORT OUT A PROBLEM WITH THE SELF CHECKOUT.....YOU THEN HAVE TO WAIT AT THE KIOSK TO SHOW YOUR RECIEPT AND PARKING TIKET TO GET A REFUND.WOULD LOVE IT IF ASDAS BOSSES SORTED THESE PROBLEMS OUT SO YOU COULD GET ON WITH YOUR DAY,AS ALL OTHER SUPERMARKETS ARE WAY MORE CUSTOMER FOCUSED
Not impressed shelves half empty till staff must have had a bad day .only polite when I said thank you . Wont be calling again as tesco staff are more human and very considerate .
Store is layed out quite well, like Tesco all reduced bread/ cakes get brought down to the front of the store but be warned staff will get most if not all reduced items before customers. General customer service from staff particularly the male staff needs a massive improvement, moving out the way so they could get a cage past and not even a thank you or smile. Customer toilets are always filthy with no proper lock. Cashiers just stand near the window have a "chat" not really paying attention to what's going on around them.
A great store within a small village perfect place to find everything you need, The prices are at a competitive price perfect for those who love to bargain shop. This store does have a cap park which is quite small but adequate, there is both disabled and parent and toddler parking, near the entrance of the store. The added extra is this store has toilets and a accessible toilet with plenty of grab rails in approte places, all toilets are located at the back of the store. There is a pull down baby changing bench located in the disabled toilet. The staff are very helpful and pleased to help when needed, included helping you with your shopping to the car and then taking your trolley back. perfect for those with there hands full or those with mobility issues, anyone really who need a bit of extra help!
