It's a nice convenient chain restaurant in the shopping centre area of Uttoxeter and close to the cinema. Good food, cheap prices, served to the table, friendly but informal service, pleasant ambience.
For several years we have been going to this pub and over that time the menu has changed frequently but has always stayed as 2 for 1. The table service is usually very good but on the odd occasion we have had to go and pay at the bar as they have been too busy. The meals are nice and there is a good selection and the size and quality fit in with what you are paying for. There is always a specials board and there are two seating areas, one more family orientated for younger children with a small corner for them to play. There is an outdoor seating area and a small part for children to play as well.
My fully loaded burger. As it said on the menu had a lettuce leaf. Nothing else. And when I asked what it should have been loaded with I got sarcasm. And told it was loaded with love.
Called in on a Thursday night and were shown to a table immediately. The menu is very good with lots of variety and as it is 2 for 1 it is very good value. We chose 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for 20, brilliant. The service is good and staff were very friendly and chatty. Do yourself a favour and call in, I'm sure you will enjoy it
Really liked it here, a well thought out use of the space. There were different areas which attracted different sorts of people. There was an are for people with children. An area which was more suitable for older people. Food was excellent and good value for money. Decor was relaxing and homely especially where we were sitting. Definitely recommend.
