Consistently good food. Staff very friendly and value for money. My family and I always use Cods Corner when we fancy fish and chips. Highly recommend them
Cods corner need to review what they wrap their food in. With its central location, this place really could be the best in town, as other reviews suggest. But that nasty grey paper they wrap the food in just ruins the whole experience. It sticks to the chips and tears the batter from the fish, resulting in waste and a disappointing end result. The food itself is pretty good but every time I get it home (less than a mile) it has been transformed from the crispy deliciousness that I saw in the shop to a soggy mess that requires surgical skill to separate from the bits of torn paper. Sort it out Cods.
